Anker soundcore has unveiled the new Space 2 Pro over-ear wireless headphones. Introduced at IFA 2026, the model combines soundcore’s Thus AI audio chip, an adaptive ANC system using eight microphones, and LDAC support for higher-quality wireless playback.
The Space 2 Pro is designed not only as a music-focused ANC headphone, but also as a model with a strong emphasis on voice clarity for calls, office use and remote-work environments. Soundcore is positioning it as a next-generation over-ear headphone built around its Thus AI technology.
Thus AI Chip Enhances Voice Separation
One of the key features of the Space 2 Pro is Anker’s Thus AI chip. Thus is a dedicated audio processor based on a Compute-in-Memory architecture, allowing AI calculations to be performed directly within memory rather than continuously moving data between separate processing and memory components.
According to soundcore, the chip provides significantly increased AI processing capability and is used to analyze ambient noise while separating the user’s voice during calls. The processing is performed on-device without requiring a continuous cloud connection.
By combining the Thus AI chip with a multi-microphone system, the Space 2 Pro is designed to reduce background noise during calls while improving the clarity of transmitted speech.
Adaptive ANC 3.0 with Eight Microphones
Noise cancelling is handled by an Adaptive ANC 3.0 system using a total of eight microphones.
Soundcore says the system is designed to work effectively in environments where different types of noise are present simultaneously, such as offices with conversation, keyboard sounds and HVAC noise.
The call-processing system also uses multiple microphones and AI-based voice processing to distinguish speech from surrounding noise in real time. The overall approach goes beyond conventional low-frequency noise suppression and places greater emphasis on communication quality in everyday working environments.
LDAC and Hi-Res Wireless Playback
The Space 2 Pro supports the LDAC codec, allowing compatible Android devices to stream audio at a higher data rate than standard SBC or AAC connections.
Soundcore also positions the Space 2 Pro as a Hi-Res Audio-capable wireless headphone and includes HearID-based personalized EQ. HearID analyzes the user’s hearing characteristics and creates a customized EQ profile based on individual listening preferences.
Bluetooth 6.1 and multipoint connectivity are also supported, making it possible to use the headphones with two devices such as a smartphone and laptop.
On-Device AI Voice Control
The Thus AI chip is also used for voice-control functions in addition to call noise reduction.
The Space 2 Pro supports smart voice commands for functions including play and pause, track navigation, volume adjustment, answering or rejecting calls, and switching between noise cancelling and transparency modes.
A notable aspect of the system is that these AI functions are handled directly by the headphone’s onboard processor rather than relying entirely on a smartphone app or cloud-based service.
Up to 60 Hours of Battery Life
Battery life is rated at up to 60 hours with ANC disabled and up to 30 hours with ANC enabled.
Fast charging is also supported, with approximately five minutes of charging providing up to eight hours of playback.
The headphones weigh around 264g and are designed for extended use in office, travel and commuting environments, with the over-ear format and multipoint connectivity supporting long daily listening sessions.
Launching September 22 at $199.99
The soundcore Space 2 Pro is scheduled to go on sale from September 22, 2026.
The US price is set at $199.99, while the European price is expected to be around €199.99.
Soundcore is expanding the use of its Thus AI platform across several products, including the Space 2 Pro, AeroClip 2, AeroClip 2 Pro and Liberty Buds 2. Within that lineup, the Space 2 Pro serves as the over-ear model combining AI-based call processing, adaptive ANC and LDAC wireless playback.
